Lady Hornets Head
Coach Ed Douglas says: "The Lady Hornets improved their record
to 4-1 in duals and 3-0 in the Conference with a 9-0 win
versus Lafayette. The Junior Varsity won 5-1 with first wins
of the season for Brianna Cairns , Monica Holland and Caylee
Orndorff. We were very pleased to see these girls get their
first wins. I'm sure there will be more. The Hornets will play
an individual tournament tomorrow at Danner. We will have 10
of our players in this three team tournament. The all day
tournament with Trenton and Columbia Battle should give us a
lot of playing. Battle was here last year and they have at
least really two strong players. Carrolton apparently
cancelled out at the last minute which is very unusual and
means we will have to adjust but we will do that.”
