The Lawson Lady
Cardinals scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning
to beat Chillicothe 3-2 in the softball season opener. Molly
Jones took the loss for Chillicothe allowing one earned run off
seven hits with three strike outs and no walks.
At the plate, Sam Baldwin had two hits, Lauren Jones,
Brooke Nelson and Kaylee Rucker all had one hit each.
Coach Stan Baldwin stated the Lady Hornets short game was
not very good offensively or defensively. |
