Chillicothe jumped out to a 6-0 lead and beat Richmond 56-43
in the Class 2 District 15 semi-finals at Lawson. Chillicothe
led by 23 at the start of the 4th quarter, before Richmond
started getting hot from outside, but it was too little too
late for the Spartans.
Chillicothe advances to the district championship
for the second straight year and will face the host Lawson
team for the third time this year. Lawson upset the
Higginsville Huskers in the semi-finals. |
