The Chillicothe Hornets Girls' Golf team (4-5) competed against
Smithville and Lawson at the Paradise Pointe golf course in Smithville.
Smithville won the event with a team score of 169 followed by Lawson's 216
and Chillicothe's 230. Abby Harmeyer of Smithville was the medalist with
a score of 38. Abby was the medalist in the MEC conference tournament
held at Chillicothe on Monday. Senior Courtney Reger led the way for the
Hornets with a score of 54. Courtney parred the par 3 eighth hole, nearly
missing a birdie and tapping in the par putt. Seniors Lauren Mason and
Grace Venner shot 56 and 59 respectively. Sophomore Hannah Sherrow shot a
62 and freshman Lexi Hargrave shot 61. |
