     The Chillicothe Lady Hornets soccer team finished tied for 5th place among 10 teams in the Moberly Spartan Invitational this past weekend. Chillicothe won their first match against district foe Mexico by a score of 3-0. Goals were scored by Josefin Hjelmaeng, Sarah Graves and Maggie Pfaff.
    The Lady Hornets fell to a strong Camdenton team in the second game by a score of 1-0.
     In the final match on Saturday, Chillicothe finished with a 1-1 draw against the host, Moberly. The lone score being tallied by Sophomore forward Harlie Jones.
     Coach Lance Harvey praised the work of the defense in only allowing 2 goals in the three matches and gave credit to the midfielder and forwards for their work ethic and improved ball movement.
