Playing five games in five days under MSHSAA Pitch Count Rules was too much for a tired Hornets pitching staff, losing to Park Hill JV 15-6 due to an 11-run 6th inning.
Going in to the top of the 6th, Park Hill was trailing 5 to 4.  The inning started with a single, a double and a walk to load the bases. A walk followed by a single each brought in a run. After an intentional walk, Park Hill scored two off a single, then had four straight walks that scored three more.
Chillicothe brought in their third pitcher of the inning for a second strike out, but three more walks scored three more for Park Hill JV. A foul tip was caught for an out, but one more run scored off a catchers error to end the inning with Park Hill leading 15-5.
