Smithville used two pitchers to
throw a no-hitter and beat Chillicothe 7 to 1. Smithville
scored in the first off a lead off triple followed by an
RBI fly out.
In the
bottom of the third Smithville had a single, a walk and after
a double steal, had Karson Reid steal home.
Chillicothe's lone run in the top of the fifth came off a
walk by Sewell, two strike outs, Brandsgaard was hit by a
pitch, Baxter walked then Toedebusch walked to bring in
the lone score.
Smithville cranked out five runs in the fifth including a
double and a home run on consecutive batters.
