Junior Tyler Maasdam and Sophomore Grahm Mayers were the number four seed in the doubles completion and finished fourth. Tyler and Grahm won their first two matches before facing the eventual doubles champions from Warrensburg. In a closely contested match, Trenton took third place with the Hornets receiving fourth. In singles competition, Matt Callen and Seth Bayte each fought hard, but were unable to get the victory (other than the forfeit Seth received). This was the first varsity competition of the season for Seth. Sophomores Noah Crowe and Brenden Nelson competed in the number two doubles position. Noah and Brenden began the tournament against the number two seed from Higginsville and then drew Savannah's number one doubles team. The Hornets next action is at Richmond on Tuesday, April 2.
