Coach Bob Long Says:
The Chillicothe Hornets traveled to Kirksville Thursday
and Friday for a two day four team tournament. The Hornets
played without their injured players, sophomores #2 Grahm
Mayers and #4 Brenden Nelson. Grain Valley took the team
trophy and all but two of the individual medals. The Hornets
competed throughout, but in most cases were over-matched.
Junior Tyler Black received his first varsity victory in
doubles with teammate Seth Bayte. The Hornets look to get back
on track Monday, April 16 at Cameron. |
