Coach Bob Long Says:
The Chillicothe Hornets boys' tennis team (2-4)
defeated the Cameron Dragons 7-2. The Hornets swept the
doubles competition setting them up for their second win of
the season. Junior Tyler Maasdam took an early lead on Dragon
David Beasley and held him off for the 8-4 win. Junior Seth
Bayte lost the first game and then won eight of the final ten
games, to secure the Hornet victory. Sophomore Grahm Mayers
picked up his first singles win of the season, defeating Tyler
Anderson 8-4. Senior Gunnar Young battled Vitaliy Tsytsyk back
and forth, finally ending it with a service winner in the
tie-breaker.
