Coach Tim Riekena Comments:
"Perfect weather! Very proud of our runners, many set
PRs (personal records) tonight. Emma Burk ran in her first race and did
well. Emma Bernskoetter set her PR as did Callaway Chapman> Elena
Boon dropped over 2 minutes off her time from last year's race. Callaway
was in 25th place at the 3/4 mark and moved up to finish 12th.
"Gunnar Young, Ben Hayen and Jacob Parkes ran good
races. Hayden Simmer continues to grow. Everyone is working Hard! JV boys
won the JV team. Boys Varsity race was tight, the top four teams were
separated by 3 points. Great Race!
"Girls Varsity was also good. Ashley Riley (Moberly)
probably set a course record with her sub 20 minutes. Good Competition. |
