Comments:
Freshman Hallie Jones shot a 92 and qualified for
state competition in Columbia on October 9th adn 10th. Hallie parred
holes three, four, five, six, eight, nine, thirteen, fourteen and
seventeen. Lexi Hargrave's bid to return to state came up just
short. Lexi shot a 106 and the cut line was 100. Lexi parred
holes eight, twelve, fifteen and eighteen. Maddie Lamp has been
playing terrific and worked extremely hard with expectations of
moving on. Maddie shot a 116, unable to put together her typical
round. Hannah Haakonstad shot a 102 and was the lowest score for a
non-qualifier. Hannah parred hole number eighteen and wasn't
eliminated until the last score was recorded. Senior Jensen
Simmer parred holes eight and eighteen. Except for Hallie, the teams
season came to an end. It was a successful season highlighted by
five qualifying to sectionals. I am proud of all the players for
working extra in an attempt to play at their very best. |
