(Story by Coach Grable)

The Lady Hornets got their 8th shutout of the season. But, as soccer goes sometimes, they came up on the losing end of the match. After 100 minutes of 0-0 game action, LeBlond was able to come out on top of the penalty shootout 4-3. The defense was able to execute a perfect game plan vs. one of the top scorers in the region limiting her to only 2 shots on the game.
The loss moves the Lady Hornets to 8-4 (1-2 MEC) on the season.
