The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team scored early and often in an 8-0 season opening home win over Cameron. The Hornets Drake Cosgrove was on fire early, scoring a goal in the opening minute off a Caleb Corbin assist and picking up his third goal just six minutes into the game.
     Chace Corbin scored in the second and 17th minute, plus had an assist on Cosgrove's first score.
     Aiden Zimmerman scored in the 4th minute and Gabe Peterson scored in the 38th minute off an assist by Jacob Adams.
     The Hornets led 5-0 just six minutes into the game and led 7-0 at halftime.
     The final score came in the 50th minute from Caleb Vance. Mason Baxter had two assists in the game and 1 Ben    Cueni-Smith had one.
     Chillicothe's Keeper Jaxon Albertson made one save on the shut out victory.
     `While it was the first game of the season, it was also Senior Night, which is becoming common in high school sports this fall, honoring the Seniors in the first home game instead of the traditional time of the final game of the regular season.
