The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team held
Hannibal scoreless in the first half but gave up three scores in the
second half for a Hannibal 3-0 win at Chillicothe.
Hannibal scored in the 38th, 54th and 73rd minutes. Jaxon Albertson
had seven saves and Gabe Hansen had three saves in the contest.
Hornets Coach Tim Cunningham though the Hornets played a really
solid first half against a quality Hannibal team.
He said "In the second half, Hannibal took advantage of their
opportunities and we struggled getting much of an attack."
Cunningham says playing teams like Hannibal will hopefully prepare
the Hornets for matches later in the season and in the District
tournament. |
