The Chillicothe Boys' tennis team (2-4) participated in the
Kirksville "under the lights" tournament. Due to Covid restrictions
only three teams were able to compete (Chillicothe, Trenton and
Kirksville). Trenton won the team competition and most of the
individual awards. Chillicothe junior Chace Corbin kept the Bulldogs
from sweeping the event. Chace won the number one singles by
defeating Trenton and Kirksville 8-1. Chace also teamed up with
junior Emmett Young to win the number two doubles, defeating Trenton
and Kirksville 8-6 and 8-3 respectively. |
