The Chillicothe Hornets (3-6) competed in the MEC individual tennis
tournament at the Noyes Courts in St Joseph. Junior Chace Corbin was
seeded second and finished in second. Freshmen Cole Horton from
Savannah won the singles championship defeating Chace for the second
time this season. Seniors Caleb Corbin and Carter Allen battled back
from a quarterfinal loss to compete in the consolation final. With
the consolation loss, the Hornet duo placed sixth. |
