The
Chillicothe Hornets Volleyball team defeated Trenton 25-12, 25-14,
25-12 in their 2020 debut. The Hornets jumped out to a good start
with freshman Delanie Kieffer and senior Ella Leamer hitting big
serves. Delanie had seven aces on the evening with Ella recording
nine. Trenton was continually attacked with strong outside hitting
and hard hitting serves.
Senior Maya Snyder had five kills and six aces along
with junior Essie Hicks recording six kills and eight aces.
Varsity: Haylee Coplen: 8 assists, 2 aces
Delanie Kieffer: 2 kills, 7 aces
Izzie Montgomery: 1 kill, 1 assist , 4 aces
Clara Leamer: 3 kills, 2 assist, 1 block
Ella Leamer: 3 kills, 2 assists, 9 aces
Maya Snyder: 5 kills, 3 assists, 6 aces, 2 digs
Anna Fisher: 2 kills, 1 assist
Jessica Reeter: 6 assists, 6 aces
Gracie West: 2 kills
Makayla Vance: 3 aces
Essie Hicks: 6 kills, 8 aces
The Hornets host the Brookfield Bulldogs on Tuesday,
September 8. The Hornets will honor senior players and parents
before the varsity match. |
