The Chillicothe Hornets Volleyball team (5-5) defeated the Lafayette Fighting Irish 25-16, 25-20, 25-21 at Chillicothe High School. Junior Essie Hicks led the team with 13 kills, followed by junior Gracie West with 8. Senior Maya Snyder and sophomore Jessica Reeter each had 14 assists. Maya had 11 aces and Essie 7. Essie had 12 digs, freshman Delanie Kieffer had 8. The Hornets showed their exceptional athleticism with 43 digs on the evening.
