at Chillicothe 42, Marshall 7
Chillicothe's Javon Kille fielded the opening kick off at
the six yard line, made a couple of moves, then
turned on the afterburners, taking it 94 yards to the
house.Just15 seconds into the game Chillicothe led 7 - 0.
They would lead the rest of the game to beat Marshall 42 -
7. Kille's season opening kick off return touchdown was
the first season opening Kick Off Return since legendary
Butch Davis did it against Carrollton in 1965.
While the Hornets thunder and lightening running game
picked up yardage at will, their defense put together a
strong game, holding Marshall to 100 total yards of
offense.
The Hornets put 29 points on the scoreboard in
the first quarter with four running backs finding the end
zone in the game along with one passing touchdown.
