The
Chillicothe Lady Hornets ran into an offensive buzz saw in an 8-0
loss at St. Pius X. The Lady Warriors were an offensive
juggernaut with 28 shots, including 21 on goal in just under
40 minutes of play in a game that ended at halftime.
St Pius wasted no time, getting their first shot off
two minutes into the game. After two unsuccessful shots, their first
goal came 5:36 into the game. Goal number two came 9:24 into the
game. The rest of the goals came at the 14:40 mark, 18:14 mark,
27:18 into the game an again just under one minute later. The final
two goals came 38:18 and 39:41 into the game.
Lady Hornets goal keeper Hadley Beemer was kept
busy with 13 saves. Another 7 Pius shots went either high or wide.
