Chillicothe's Kinlei Boley sent a 3-1 pitch over the left
field fence in the bottom of the seventh to give the Lady
Hornets an 8-7 home win over Trenton.
Chillicothe started hot with three runs in the bottom of the
first and one in the bottom of the second. Trenton countered
with two in the third. Chillicothe built 7 to 2
lead after four, but Trenton countered with five in the top of
the fifth for a 7 to 5 lead.
Chillicothe tied the game in the bottom of the sixth with two
outs, scoring runs when Bre Pithan doubld to left field
to score two with Pithan advancing to third on the throw.
In the 7th Trenton when down 1-2-3. With the
score still tied, Boley was first to the plate to start the
seventh, and ending the game with her second home run of the
game
