<Season Results>
Coach
Wheeler Says:
The CHS boys golf team stayed hot and defeated
Cameron and Meadville today in a triangular match at Green Hills
Golf Course.
Jackson Trout shot a season-best 2 under par 34 to edge MEC rival
and 2023 state medalist Brady Stice of Cameron, who fired a 36.
James Mathew, who like Trout is a two-time state qualifier, fired a
40. Andrew Hecker had a solid 43, playing varsity in place of Tyler
Stephens who missed the match due to illness. Carson Samm also shot
a 43, and first-year player Grant Leamer shot 44.
The Hornet JV team had their best day of the season with a team
score of 184. Langsten Johnson had a stellar round, shooting a
career-best 39. |
