.From Coach Rucker:
After falling behind 6-1 we
rallied in the 6th, and final, inning to win the game. That
inning included multiple hits, good base running, and
contributions from 10+ players, including pinch runners. Jolie
Bonderer got the final hit with a walk-off single to center
field that scored Charley Peniston from 2nd base. We were really
proud of the team for competing until the end. They never
stopped playing hard and believing in themselves and each other.
That’s the kind of experience that can help us as the season
progresses.
