Story by Coach Grable
The Lady Hornets soccer team was back at it again on Monday.  This time taking on conference rival Bishop Leblond in St Joseph.
Leblond came out strong and took control early.  A few lapses by Chillicothe led to a 3-0 halftime lead for Leblond.
However, after a few adjustments were made at halftime Chillicothe would make things closer.   A goal by Sophie Hurtgen made the score 3-1 about 5 minutes into the second half.   A few minutes later Hayden Hansen would make it 3-2 and suddenly we had a ballgame.
A lot of back and forth with Chillicothe putting multiple shots just wide of goal.   Leblond would get a looping shot from outside aided by the incoming winds and a penalty kick to make the final 5-2.  Ashlynn Daugherty played an excellent match in goal.
