We finished 4th out of 24 teams, the girls played great
ball both days.
The win over Lee’s Summit West was an incredible
performance to start the season.
In the Truman game we had multiple hard hit balls that
were right at defenders. The girls kept batting and rallied to
win as the time limit expired in the 6th.
We opened bracket play with a hard fought win over a
really good Centralia team.
Ray-Pec finished 2nd in state in Class Five last year
and they returned a large part of that team. Though we fell
behind early we battled back to give ourselves a chance.
In the 3rd place game our bats went cold and we
couldn’t get anything going.
This weekend showed what the potential of this team is. |
