.. The Lady Hornets turned eight
hits into five runs to pick up a hard fought win at Kirksville.
Both teams scored one in the first inning, then Kirksville built
a 2-1 lead after two.
Chillicothe responded with two in the top of the third and
one each in the fourth and fifth innings. Kirksville made it
interesting with one in the sixth and one in the seventh, but
couldn't finish it out in a 5 to 4 Chillicothe win.
Ali Probasco and Landry Marsh teamed up for the win in the
circle, combining to allow six hits with eight strike outs and
three walks. Probasco was credited with the win.
Chillicothe improves to 6 and 2 and have won three straight
after dropping two in a row. Kirksville, which started with a
four game win streak, has now lost two in a row.
