Alva Murry is Third in State Wrestling (145lbs)
St Louis Teams Grabbed the Honors in High Tournament
Chillicothe high school wrestlers were eliminated in
the state high school wrestling tournament at Columbia Friday and
Saturday except for Alva Murry, who fought his way to third place in
his event.
The other Hornets on the team, who lost out in the
first or second rounds, were Leonard Fair, Clement Edwards, Junior
Posey and Jimmy Stewart.
St Louis Schools, which had a predominantly heavy
entry, won the honors
