     The Chillicothe Lady Hornets fought through turnovers and referees whistles to pick up a season opening victory in Coach Rachael Lowe's debut game as head coach.
     The two teams combined for 50 fouls and 56 free throw attempts in the game plus numerous turnovers and steals by both teams.
     After a sluggish start to the game, Chillicothe went on an 8-0 run in the 1st quarter to take a five point lead and the Lady Hornets wouldn't trail the rest of the game.
     Kelsie Hicks led the team with 15 points and Sarah Baldwin with 13 points including 9 of 12 at the free throw line.
