Savannah outscored Chillicothe 22-4 in the first
quarter to down the Lady Hornets 57-31. After the Lady Hornets
tied the game at 4-4 early in the 1st quarter, Savannah went
on a 22 point run to blow open the game. Chillicothe was down
by as many as 30 points in the second quarter.
The Lady Hornets did close the game to 18 points in the
third but could not get any closer. Savannah used a physical
inside game to shut down the Lady Hornets. The Lady Savages
lone Senior, Lindsey Partridge, lit up Chillicothe for 21
points, using her strength and 5'11" frame to dominate the low
post on both ends of the court.
Chillicothe is now off until the NCMC Holiday Hoops
showcase on the 30th and 31st. |
