Chillicothe attempted a late game come-back, but ran
out of time and lost to St Joseph Lafayette 45-41 in the
Kearney Girls consolation game. Chillicothe started the game
slow, managing just one basket and two free throws in the
first quarter.
Chillicothe was down by 13 points early in the fourth
quarter but started their slow come-back effort but could not
get shots to fall late in the game.
Chillicothe had difficulty defending the low post and
the Weston Family of Lafayette. Myia Weston had 18 points and
Oceonna Weston had 12 in the game. The Lady Hornets also had
difficulty finding an outside game, going 0 for 6 from behind
