The Trenton Lady Bulldogs hit 15 of 21 free throws in
the fourth quarter to beat Chillicothe 62-52. Chillicothe led
most of the first three quarters, but turned cold late
in the fourth quarter. Chillicothe closed the lead to 4 points
late in the game, but Trenton continued to hit free throws to
ice the victory.
Chillicothe led by 8 at the half but struggled in the
third quarter. Trenton tied the game with 29 seconds left in
the third quarter and Chillicothe never led again.
Chillicothe Sophomore Maddie Williams had a career
night with 20 points, which was equaled by Trenton Senior
Center Rebekah Capeder. The win marked the 9th in a row for
the Lady Bulldogs. |
